Star Medical Centre is a busy bulk billing practice with 2 practices located at Sunnybank and Acacia Ridge. We are looking for a hard working, motivated and friendly RN to join our practice. Must be a team player, reliable, compassionate and flexible. We have a dedicated Doctor team and great staff and support. Casual position available, flexible with days Monday - Friday 8.30am-5.30pm available for some Saturday work if required. Able to work in Aged Care facilities with our Doctors.
Qualifications & experience
- 1. Previous experience working in general practice (preferred but not essential) New graduate also considered
- 2. Strong communication and time management skills
- 3. A caring and collaborative approach to patient care .
- 4. RN with AHPRA registration
- 5. Ability to use Best Practice Medical Software will be advantage.
- Mandarin/Cantonese speaking an advantage but not essential.
- Drivers Licence
Tasks & responsibilities
- General Nursing Duties, Chronic Disease Management (CDM), Health Care Plans, vaccinations/Immunisations, wound care, health assessments, recalls, coordination of the treatment room, cold chain management and sterilisation
- Assisting Doctors in Aged Care facilities for weekly visits and vaccinations.
