Our Client:
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to work for an AMAZING aged care facility based in Meadow Springs who have an outstanding management team. The facility is well regarded, value their staff and embrace a positive culture allowing for work/life balance. They are a strong supportive team who will encourage and support your growth to achieve your goals.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with the new Aged Care Quality Standards
- Deal with falls, undertake assessments, intervention and observation
- Medication administration
- Supervise carers on shift and providing direction
- Clinical decision making
- Update care plans and assessments
- SIRS management - incident reporting and investigation
- Support the residents' families
- Wound management
- Assist in the management of complaints and procedures
The Successful Candidate:
- Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration
- Experience in aged care working in a residential setting
- Current National Police Clearance
- Current influenza and COVID vaccinations
