Registered Nurse

The Organisation: 

Currently seeking compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurses to join a team in providing exceptional care for elderly residents in Maleny. As a Registered Nurse in aged care, you will play a vital role in delivering person-centered care, promoting independence, and enhancing the overall quality of life for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care and support to residents in accordance with their individual care plans and needs.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring compliance with medication management policies and procedures.
• Monitor residents' health status and respond promptly to any changes or concerns, collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement appropriate interventions.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments, document observations, and maintain accurate resident records.
• Foster a positive and supportive environment for residents, families, and staff, promoting dignity, respect, and cultural sensitivity.

Requirements:

• Registered Nurse qualification and current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
• Demonstrated experience in acute care nursing.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
