As a passionate Registered Nurse (RN), your ‘typical day’ will have you:
• Providing excellent, person-centred resident care in relation to specialised nursing needs (i.e. management of diabetes, wounds, infections, pain and medications)
• Maintaining documentation; completing resident assessments, incident investigation and related care documents in accordance with policies and procedures and meeting accreditation standards
• Overseeing the administration of day-to-day tasks as relates to the provision of clinical care to achieve the best resident outcomes
• Undertaking clinical monitoring of residents and escalating changes as required
• Providing other employees on shift with clear direction and guidance
To thrive in this role, you will have:
• A current AHPRA registration and Registered Nurse (Division 1) qualification
• A collaborative approach and high level of accountability
• An understanding of the aged care legislative framework and requirements, including safe medication administration
• A friendly and positive attitude and the ability to demonstrate client-focused behaviour
• The ability to show empathy and treat others with dignity and respect

The salary for this full time role is $38.35 per hour - $56.50 per hour depending on experience plus superannuation.
