The Multi-Purpose Service model (MPS) in smaller communities is aimed at integrating a range of health services under one management structure, including acute care, respite and palliative care, emergency, allied health, primary health and community health services. Urbenville is located in the beautiful Northern Rivers region of NSW, known for its unspoilt bushland surroundings, sub-tropical National Parks and the majestic Clarence River. For a different type of scene, you can drive to the Gold Coast in less than 2 hours, or Brisbane in under 3 hours.
If you’re registered with AHPRA and have:
- Demonstrated recent experience as a ‘Hospital/Ward in Charge’ or similar leadership role
- Recent clinical experience in acute health care and understanding of the Aged Care setting
- Problem-solving skills and a multidisciplinary team approach in the planning, delivery and coordination of patient care
- Effective communication skills, and an understanding of person-centered care, evidence-based practice and quality improvement
