About the role
The Registered Nurse will enthusiastically offer clinical guidance, direction, and oversight to uphold compliance with legislative standards, including those of Aged Care, NDIS, and Attendant Care, as well as adhere to best practices in a nurturing and empathetic environment.
Daily responsibilities will involve:
- Conducting intricate clinical assessments.
- Identifying and fulfilling clients' clinical care needs.
- Providing Service / Care Coordinators with clinical reports and recommendations.
- Offering guidance and assistance to Service / Care Coordinators in assessing and achieving optimal client care results.
- Contributing to the creation of client care plans.
- Recording and notifying the client's Service / Care Coordinator of any irregularities.
- Managing and updating client records.
- Training support workers with essential clinical supports such as manual handling, wound care, catheter care, etc.
Knowledge / Skills / Experience / Values required
- RN qualification with active and unrestricted AHPRA registration
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience
- Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
- Current Divers’ License, full Comprehensive Car Insurance and vehicle registration
Preferred Knowledge / Skills / Experience / Values
- Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office programs
- Minimum of 1 years of clinical experience in a case management position
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience within the community setting
- Korean speaking
