Are you a Registered Nurse with excellent interpersonal and customer service skills? An exciting opportunity exists at Campbelltown Private Hospital for a Registered Nurses to join our Surgical Ward team on a Full-time basis. About us Campbelltown Private Hospital is a purpose built private hospital located in Park Central, the ever-growing medical hub of Campbelltown. Our modern facilities include 8 Operating Theatres, 48 Surgical beds, 16 bed Day Surgery Unit and 34 bed Rehabilitation Unit. We offer excellent employee conditions with extensive support, professional development and future leadership opportunities. As a Registered Nurse your responsibilities will include:
Deliver evidence based nursing care to adults and paediatric patient.
Liaise with the multi-disciplinary team in a mixed case ward.
Ensure patient and staff safety
Supervise, direct and guide nursing team members; Student, Graduate and Assistants in Nursing (AINs) to deliver patient care
Deliver education and support to individuals/patients for the management of their health recovery, rehabilitation or end of life needs
Advance Life Support.
About you: To be successful in your application, you will need to meet the requirements below:
Current Registration with AHPRA
2+ years post graduate experience as a Registered Nurse in an acute surgical setting preferable.
Proven experience in working with acute post-surgical patients in orthopaedics, paediatrics, urology or Gynaecology.
Commitment to Quality Patient Care
Compliance with ACQSHC National standards
Sound clinical decision making and problem solving skills
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Works well independently and within a team
Post Graduate Certificate in Orthopaedics, Urology, Paediatrics or Gynaecology (or working towards) is desirable.
