About you!

• experience in working in rural and remote locations or a passion to do so
• Current AHPRA Registration (unrestricted)
• Current Police Check
• Evidence of COVID and influenza vaccinations
• NDIS clearance (or willingness to obtain)
• Up to 3 years' experience in Aged Care
• experience in emergency nursing
• A passion and commitment for working with the elderly
• You enjoy & promote a positive team culture

About the role!
The role of the Registered Nurse is to provide a range of clinical care and support services in collaboration with the care recipients, their families, and other members of the health care team, assisting the care recipients to experience a greater level of independence and ensuring their health and wellness are supported. This facility offers quality residential care and respite in a 50 bed, modern, purpose-built facility surrounded by extensive gardens with sea views.
You will...

• Provide & monitor the care of residents
• Use a systematic approach to clinical decision-making
• Develop appropriate therapeutic and caring relationships
• Collaborate with the health care team to achieve resident outcomes
• Participate in the development of a supportive environment with the team

The successful applicant will need to demonstrate sound clinical skills, including emergency department experience, be consumer-focused, have experience and a sound understanding of the Aged Care accreditation processes, and be a positive, inclusive team player.
