The Opportunity
Our client is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join their 40-bed facility based in Warrnambool
As an integral member of a close-knit team, your responsibilities will include:
- Ensure the highest standard of care is delivered to clients in accordance with the Aged Care Standards and Aged Care Act
- Develop and implement individual care plans
- Liaise with a multidisciplinary team to ensure a holistic person-centred approach
- Build positive relationships with clients, families, and other staff members
- Accurate documentation and record-keeping
- Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities
To be successful in the role, you will have:
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (Division 1)
- Accurate documentation and record-keeping
- Well-developed clinical assessment skills and commitment to best practice approaches to care delivery
- Understanding of the Aged Care funding instrument and associated processes
- Understanding of the needs and issues experienced by the frail elderly and their families
- Organisational and planning skills
- Effective oral and written communication skills, including effective IT knowledge base.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure
- Current driver's license and National Police Check (issued within the last 3 years)
