Current opportunities for Registered and Enrolled Nurses to join the Community Health Service at Cessnock/ Kurri Kurri
We are a friendly team of community nurses working business hours (Monday – Friday) providing nursing care to clients in their homes in the Cessnock/Kurri Kurri LGA. Our service also encompasses a nurse led clinic, childhood immunisation clinic and audiometry screening clinic. We are in close proximity to world-class Hunter Valley Vineyards and only 2 hours’ drive north of Sydney with flights from the nearby Newcastle airport enable easy access to all major cities in Australia.

Position Classification: Enrolled Nurse, Registered Nurse (dependent on qualifications)
Remuneration: $23.80 - $48.41 per hour + superannuation (salary dependent on qualifications and experience)
Hours Per Week: Up to 38

Important Information for Applicants:
Occupational Assessment, Screening and Vaccination against Specific Diseases (OASV) you are applying for a Category A or A+ position. Please read and understand NSW Health policy directive PD2018_009. All new employees must agree to comply with the requirements outlined in this policy. All NSW Health workers are required to have completed a primary course of a COVID-19 vaccine which has been approved or recognised by the Therapeutics Goods Administration (TGA). New applicants must have completed the vaccination course prior to commencement with NSW Health or provide an approved medical contraindication certificate certifying the worker cannot have any approved COVID-19 vaccines available in NSW. As part of your employment checks you will need to submit details of your paid worker Working with Children Check (WWCC) clearance in NSW. If you are recommended for appointment and do not currently hold a WWCC in NSW, you will need to take action to apply for one online and attend a Service NSW Centre for your check to lodge at your earliest convenience.
