About the Role
Lake Macquarie Private Cardiac Cath Lab are looking for a Registered Nurse to be part of our dynamic and friendly team.
We run 2 Cardiac Cath Labs providing, diagnostic, interventional, electrophysiology and structural heart services. We are currently operating a 5 day a week service with on call overnight and weekends.
We work collaboratively with Intensive Care, the cardiothoracic ward (Cain Ward), Coronary Care and Day surgery services and have a varied and interesting workflow which will provide you with a challenging and rewarding work environment.
This role encompasses scout, scrub and holding bay duties.
About You
Essential criteria
- Relevant registration with AHRPA as a Registered Nurse
- Scrub/scout/recovery experience and/or anaesthetic recovery experience.
- 12 months in a Cath Lab environment
- Interventional Cardiology procedural skills such as PCI and Structural Heart procedures.
- Proven Cardiac Rhythm Management procedural and recovery skills.
- Invasive monitoring including recognition of arterial and right heart pressures/waveforms, and Balloon Pump management
- Experience with sheath management pre/peri/post removal
- Experience in Cardiac nursing and/or Critical care, Advanced Life Support.
$34.43 - $48.33 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (NSW RN/Midwife gr1-gr8) [FTE 68,033.68 - $95,500.08]
