Registered Nurse | Correctional

• Contract basis, 40 hour week, 10+ weeks available
• Full orientation, training and support throughout
• 4 shifts per week, giving you extra time to explore beaches, local fooderies, rivers and waterfalls.

About the role:

• Providing primary healthcare to inmates
• Complete medication rounds
• Responding to emergency health concerns
• Conducting clinical assessments
• Creating and maintaining patient care plans
• Actively supporting your Clinical Team Leader and Nurse Unit Manager
• Understanding the diverse needs of the custodial patient population, men, women, Indigenous peoples, and culturally and linguistically diverse peoples.

About you:

• Minimum of 2 years postgrad experience in primary healthcare, ED, Acute or Correctional settings
• Currently AHPRA registration with nil restrictions and Bachelor of Nursing degree
• Current CPR/BLS (ALS preferred)
• National Police Clearance
• COVID Vaccination
