About Day Oncology – Brighton Our day oncology at Cabrini Brighton is a 20 chair Day Oncology Unit offering our patients access to a comprehensive range of cancer treatments including chemotherapy, immunotherapy and supportive care. There are opportunities to participate in nurse led research and career advancement.
About the role The role covers all aspects of patient care while undergoing treatment, including education, chemo administration, patient assessment and follow-up and referral. This is a part time position.
Salary range is $32.21 to $45.50 per hour plus superannuation depending on experience (in accordance with the Cabrini Acute Care Nurses & Midwives EBA) Generous salary packaging available. Key responsibilities will include: Assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating nursing care in collaboration with individuals and the multidisciplinary health care team. Delivering care to patients to meet Cabrini’s organisational goals.
Demonstrating attention to the needs of the patient and family to maintain privacy, dignity and confidentiality About you You will be a motivated individual with a minimum of 3 years relevant experience in medical Oncology/Haematology.
The ideal candidate will hold or be working towards post grad qualifications in Oncology. You will have excellent time management and attention to detail along with the ability to work efficiently and respectfully within the team to deliver excellent patient care within the framework of the Cabrini Mission and Values. You will also require to have: Current police check Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
