Mater Hospital Brisbane's Day Surgery Unit/23HR unit is seeking an exceptional Registered Nurse to join this multidisciplinary team on a permanent full-time basis, 38 hours a week.
The Day Surgery Unit will see you working within a range of areas including Pre-operative waiting area, recovery bays and a discharge area, a 23 Hour Unit and the Day Surgery service.
Our exceptional nursing team are required to provide quality care across all these areas, which will present opportunities and variety, shift by shift; our team will be required to seamlessly integrate to work under different senior staff as appropriate.
Salary range: $40.27 - $51.74 (Registered Nurse 1) per hour plus superannuation and salary packaging
What you'll be doing
You will provide care to patients who are admitted for day surgery and inpatient care for short stay surgical patients, ensuring excellent standards of nursing care always and work closely with patients and their families ensuring they experience a sensitive, welcoming and friendly environment always. You will be required to work rotating shifts between Monday to Friday in the 23HR unit.

- Current AHPRA registration (no restrictions)
Excellent communication, problem solving and negotiation skills
