SalaryGP clinic in Fawkner (Vic 3060) seeking a Registered Nurse to join our friendly team.
Week days shifts from 9am to 5pm, 3 to 5 days per week. Potentially transition into head clinical nurse.
The role may include, but is not limited to:
Practice Nurse Duties
- Assisting with cosmetic treatments
- Assisting with minor procedures
- Health assessments
- Vaccinations
- e-Health record maintenance
- Stock monitoring and ordering
- Triage of emergency patients
- ECGs
- Iron infusions
- Wound management
- Spirometry
- Ear suction and ear syringing
- Recalls, Infection Control, Immunisations and other injections
Medical Administrative Duties
- Managing appointments and calls promptly and courteously.
- Assist doctors with clinical procedures and maintain clinical documentation.
- Assist with triage, data management, diagnostic services, networking with other providers, planning and management of patient care and patient advocacy.
Ability to prioritise, organise, and maintain absolute confidentiality.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and productivity.
Essential criteria:
Best Practice Management Software experience
Current nurse registration with AHPRA, First Aid (CPR) Certification
Competent in venipuncture
Minimum 6 months GP experience
Desirable Criteria:
Registered nurse: 2+ years Hospital or GP Experience
