2x fixed-term opportunities have arisen for skilled and passionate Registered Nurses to join our Home Based Nursing Services department. Contracts: Fixed-Term, Part-Time Parental Leave contract. Estimated completion 02.06.2024
Fixed-Term, Part-Time contract until 14.07.2024
The position:
In this role you will deliver quality nursing care to a broad range of clients across a variety of funding streams including Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP) nursing services, wound care, and palliative care. You will perform comprehensive assessments, care planning and care coordination and providing appropriate BHS and Community service referrals. A key requirement of this position is to be available to undertake a variety of shifts across 7 days of the week.

Key criteria requirements:
- Completion of graduate nursing year plus a minimum 2 years nursing experience
- Current AHPRA registration as Registered Nurse
- Demonstrated ability to undertake patient assessments and develop a goal-based, person-centred care plan.
- Knowledge in key community nursing care practices including wound care and diabetes management
- Knowledge of handling chemotherapy disconnections and appropriate management of chemo spills and hazardous chemical protocols.
