Exciting opportunity to join Tweed Valley Hospital, a new state of the art facility with more beds and increased services.
The new hospital will include:
- more operating theatres and recovery spaces
- expanded emergency department
- enhanced medical, surgical, and mental health services
- enhanced ambulatory care services including more outpatient clinics
- new interventional cardiology service
- new radiotherapy service as part of a new integrated cancer care service.
The TweedValley Hospital will be a major referral hospital at the heart of the network of hospitals and health facilities across the Tweed-Byron region. It will provide the health services required to meet the needs of the growing population of the region beyond 2032.

Employment will commence at The Tweed Hospital in preparation for transition to Tweed Valley Hospital (TVH). TVH will be opening 14 May 2024.
If you have:
- Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse (Division 1)
- Completion of the Australian College of Nursing Immunisation certificate and The Albion Centre Management of Exposures to Blood Borne Pathogens certificate
- Knowledge and understanding of NSW Health Occupational Assessment, Screening and Vaccination Against Specified Infectious Diseases and Infection Control Health Policies and practical implementation of these in the workplace.
- Ability to interact compassionately with staff who have had body substance exposures, providing management, advice and support
