Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team. Working alongside our Clinical Services Pharmacists the successful candidate will be responsible for providing quality patient care, administering vaccinations and delivering a range of clinical services from our dedicated Health Hub. Vaccination & sleep apnoea services will be the primary service delivered with planning for the delivery of other clinical services underway.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be detail-oriented, and have a passion for helping others.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and administer a range of vaccines to patients
- Competently manage any adverse reactions and side effects of vaccinations administered
- Provide health advice, risk assessments/screening and chronic disease management
- Wound care management
- Provide quality and informed advice and treatment for minor ailments
- Participate in the delivery of ad hoc educational events to support continued learning of pharmacists and allied health partners
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Assist with the day-to-day administrative functions of the health hub, including ordering of vaccines and other consumables
- Adhere to all healthcare regulations and standards
- Support the development of clinic services
Qualifications & experience:
- Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration
- Nurse immuniser qualification (as recognised by Vic DoH)
- First aid, CPR and anaphylaxis training
- COVID vaccination administration experience and/or training
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting
- Experience vaccinating from 6 weeks and above desirable
- Japanese encephalitis and Monkeypox e-learning desirable

This is a full-time position with job share available.
Our clinic operates Tuesday - Saturday. Candidates must be available to work Saturdays 9am - 1pm. No evening or on-call work required.
