Latrobe Regional Health, nestled in the picturesque region of Gippsland, is actively seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU). Our ICU, a 14-bed unit within our expansive 328-bed public hospital, caters to a diverse patient population both medical and surgical, including Intensive Care, Coronary Care, & High Dependency.
We pride ourselves on our experienced staff who create a safe and nurturing environment for patients and their families. The unit is under the continuous supervision of a Consultant Intensivist, ensuring round-the-clock expert care. A diverse mix of professionals allows for on-site training and supervision, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
About the Role
The Registered Nurse will be expected to:
- Critically think and analyse nursing practice.
- Engage in therapeutic and professional relationships.
- Maintain practice capability.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments.
- Develop nursing practice plans.
- Provide safe, appropriate, and responsive quality nursing practice.
- Evaluate outcomes to inform nursing practice.

Requirements
- AHPRA registration with no restrictions.
- Recent experience in ICU/CCU preferred.
- Relevant Postgraduate Qualification desirable.
- Current Australian Working Rights.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
