About the Role:
SALHN has the requirement for experienced Registered Nurses to and Registered Clinical Nurses to join the team in Ward 5A. This is a multi-vacancy, with two possible appointment classifications. The successful applicants will be appointed in the position appropriate to their skills, qualifications, and experience. Ward 5A consists of 26 general ward beds and will assist with patients transitioning from the Emergency Department to other respective wards.
To be considered for the RN2C (Clinical Nurse) level you must have recent demonstrated competence in an equivalent practice setting with at least three years, full time equivalent, post registration experience with experience in the leadership and direction of student nurses, enrolled nurses, and less experienced Registered Nurses.
About you:
- Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse by the nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.
- Accepts accountability for their own practice standards, activities delegated to others and the guidance and development of less experienced staff.
- Effective communication, problem solving, conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
- Ability to support junior and less experienced members of the team.
