OverviewKaroonda and District Soldiers' Memorial Hospital provides services including a nurse-led Emergency Department, support by emergency trained General Practitioners via telehealth, outpatients and aged care beds. Registered Nurse (RN1), you will provide person-centred nursing services by assessing individual patient/client needs, plan, implement and/or coordinate appropriate service delivery from a range of accepted options including other disciplines or agencies.As a
Clinical Nurse (RN2C) the role continues to be predominantly clinical in nature; however, you will be assigned an appropriate portfolio. The allocation of portfolio responsibilities should be negotiated and be consistent with your career development plan as determined by your performance review/development plan.
EligibilityPlease note that as this position is multi-classed as either a RN/M2C or RN/M1, the classification will be determined by qualifications and experience. Please specify in your application whether you wish to be considered for the RN/M1 or RN/M2 position.All applicants must be registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.To be considered for the RN2C classification, applicants must have at lease 3 years, full time equivalent, post registration experience and experience in the leadership and direction of student nurses, enrolled nurses, and less experienced
Registered Nurses.
