About the Role
As a Registered Nurse you will be responsible for providing quality clinical advice to patients. The MATRS Clinician is responsible for the clinical assessment, triage and provision of Medical Advice to Eligible Personnel via the 1800 IMSICK and All Hours Support Line (ASL) 24-hour Telephone Service. MATRS Clinicians shall be supported by contemporary clinical decision support tools and standard scripting as approved by the Commonwealth and in accordance with applicable professional standards, legislation and Defence Policies and Procedures.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- The highest levels of personal integrity and ethical behaviour.
- Current unconditional and unrestricted registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Minimum of 2 years full-time (or part-time equivalent) Post Graduate experience within the last 5 years in an acute care, primary health, or military setting.
- Recent participation in Continuous Professional Development (CPD) activities in accordance with AHPRA.
- Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (HLTAID009) certification.
