Salary: up to $103k per annum (depending on experience), Plus super.

Our client, a private hospital, is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join their dynamic team in the Medical Oncology/ Palliative Care Unit. If you have a passion for providing holistic care to patients facing challenging health issues, this is the role for you.

• Work in a state-of-the-art facility equipped with advanced medical technology.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure exceptional patient care.
• Offer support and comfort to patients and their families during difficult times.

As a Registered Nurse in the Medical Oncology/ Palliative Care Unit, you will need to demonstrate:

• Proven experience in delivering high-quality nursing care in an oncology or Palliative Care setting.
• Ability to assess, plan, and implement nursing care plans for patients with complex needs.
• Strong communication skills and empathy to effectively engage with patients and families.
• Dedication to upholding the highest standards of patient safety and well-being.
• An adaptable and resilient nature to thrive in a fast-paced and emotionally demanding environment.

Preferred Requirements:

• Previous experience working with electronic medical records systems.
• Advanced certification in oncology or Palliative Care nursing.
• Experience in leading patient education and support programs.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent qualification.
• Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
• Postgraduate qualification in Medical Oncology or Palliative Care nursing.
