About the Role
We are expanding our team and seeking experienced Registered Nurses to provide exceptional Community Nursing support to individuals with disabilities across the Warwick, Southern Downs and Darling Downs region. This is a brand-new role within our Clinical Team, offering an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of our clients.
You will be responsible for a wide range of duties including but not limited to:
- Continence assessments
- Wound care management
- Bowel therapy management
- Medication management
- P.E.G. management
- Diabetes management
- Both clinical and non-clinical duties

About You
- You are an experienced Registered Nurse
- You are experienced working with people with complex support needs and have a genuine desire to improve the quality of life of the clients you support by allowing them to have choice and control over their lives.
- You are passionate about caring for people with disabilities and you are a reliable and flexible worker.
- You are dedicated to providing high quality care and are motivated to become a key member of an emerging player in a very important field.
- You embody our ethos of Dignity, Respect, Individualised, Visionary and Engaging.
Skills and Qualifications
- A current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients and stakeholders.
- Current First Aid and CPR certificate
- Blue Card and NDIS Screening/Yellow Card, or the ability to obtain
- Valid drivers’ license and reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance
- Authority to work in Australia
- Ability to work automatously
- Excellent time management skills
- Reliable, punctual and trustworthy.
- Experience working in Community Nursing
Desirable
- Previous experience working with clients that have a Positive Behaviour Support Plan
- Mental Health First Aid training
- Strong problem-solving skills and critical thinking
