Reporting to the Nursing Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the efficient operational effectiveness of Nursing duties.
Monday to Friday – covering various hours between 7am to 9pm.
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Receive, manage and resolve issues from Clients, Stakeholders and Staff and escalate where appropriate;
- Conduct regular audits in line with service requirements;
- Manage allocated email inboxes, manage phone calls and update and maintain client records;
- Provide support to nursing staff during working hours;
- Visiting clients, providing clinical care and assessments on all rostered days;
- Manage supplies and stock control processes;
- Potential to travel interstate
We are seeking suitably qualified and experienced applicants who have at least 3 years’ experience as an RN, which ideally includes some Community Nursing exposure.
Tertiary qualifications, unrestricted AHPRA registration, current Police Clearance Certificate, CPR, drivers licence and reliable vehicle are of course all essential requirements of the role.
You will be proficient in managing multiple client caseloads, including wound care and dressings, continence, catheters, bowel care assessment and have the associated product knowledge and ability to manage assessment reporting.
Above all we are seeking applicants with exceptional communication, IT skills with the ability to learn new software easily, problem solving and leadership skills who have a ‘can do attitude’ and a proactive approach to continuous improvement and evidence-based practices.
