Form of workPractice Nurse required for our Rockingham Maternity Family Practice
We are currently looking for a Registered Nurse or an Enrolled Nurse on a part time basis for our Rockingham Maternity Family Practice, located in Rockingham.
Hours or days required
A minimum of 3 days per week
The Role

You are required to provide quality care to a diverse mix of patients through;
- Chronic Disease Management including Care Plans & Health Assessments
- Immunisations and vaccinations
- ECG's & Spirometry
- Wound care/dressings
- Assisting doctors with minor surgical procedures
- Daily co-ordination of the treatment room, stock control and medical equipment maintenance
- Implementing and practicing infection control
- Identifying and contributing to the development of our patient educational needs.
Essential Criteria:
- Current unrestricted Nurses Registration with AHPRA
- Current CPR certification
- Experience as a Practice Nurse or a similar role
- Excellent interpersonal & communication skills
- Proficiency with IT systems & their use
- Ability to work independently and as a part of a team
- Caring & collaborative approach to patient care
- Proven multi-tasking, problem solving and time management skills.
