About the Role:

An exciting opportunity is presented to work within the Northern Adelaide Local Health Network as a Registered Mental Health Nurse within the Older Persons Mental Health Service.

This position will offer you professional growth opportunities within a supportive and inclusive culture. In this key position you will demonstrate your experience and previous success working as a Registered Mental Health Nurse to ensure high quality care is delivered to our consumers.

As a Registered Mental Health Nurse you will provide nursing services in health service settings. In this role you will develop from a novice practitioner to a proficient level of professional practice and consolidate knowledge and skills, developing in capability through continuous professional development and experience.

Registered Mental Health Nurses accept accountability for their own standards of nursing care and for activities delegated to others.

To be eligible for this position, you must be registered as a Nurse by the Nursing/Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) and hold a current practicing certificate. You must be enrolled in an approved Mental Health course or hold a qualification in Mental Health practice.
