Western Haematology & Oncology Clinic was designed with patient involvement. All 14 treatment bays offer patients a relaxing view of Totterdell Park, which links to our wellness through cancer care philosophy.
We offer onsite specialist consulting suites, pathology collection, laboratory, compounding pharmacy, Perth Blood Institute clinical trials unit, and allied health services (including Dietician, Physiotherapy, and Clinical Psychology).
About You:
We are looking for a positive and eager Registered Nurse experienced and passionate about cancer care to join our Western Haematology & Oncology Clinic day unit on a part time basis, approximately 30 hours a week.
The successful candidate in this position will have:
- 3+ years experience in Oncology/Haematology
- Experience administering Cytotoxic chemotherapy and related cancer treatments including ADAC chemotherapy competency
- Competency in PICC, PORT, IV Cannulation, and Phlebotomy
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated ability to work with colleagues and contribute to the development of a high-performing team
- Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service skills
- Demonstrated ability to communicate positively and to actively encourage a positive team culture and environment for patients and their families within a values-based organization
- Current AHPRA Nursing Registration
