In your role, you'll be responsible for supporting all of Zurich's legal teams through the provision of advice on general corporate law matters, including reviewing and advising on contracts with suppliers, giving advice on directors' duties, capital raising, dividends and other corporate transactions and advising on intellectual property (such as trademarks). You will also provide advice on financial services licensing legal issues, insurance product development and maintenance (e.g. PDS reviews), financial product distribution partnership and breaches/incidents.
Important to your success - let's grow together
- Recognised Australian legal qualifications and eligible to practice law in New South Wales.
- Experience across general corporate and commercial law disciplines, working in a law firm or in-house position, with familiarity of the Corporations Act and financial services industry.
- Ability to receive instructions, analytically assess issues and communicate advice clearly and in a non-legalistic way.
- Strong written communications skills and ability to produce a variety of documents that demonstrate command of language, clarity of thought, and orderliness of presentation.
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to build and maintain trustful, working relationships at all levels of the organisation; able to demonstrate professional and tactful customer relationship skills.
