REGISTERED NURSE-PALLIATIVE CARE
Gabrielle Jennings Centre is located at Werribee Mercy Hospital; a public hospital servicing the growing community of the west. Our Centre is a purpose-designed unit to provide a tranquil, homely, and safe place in providing care to chronically-ill patients requiring extensive symptom management and end-of-life care. Working in a multidisciplinary team, you will provide patient-centred care for patients and support to their family. ABOUT THE ROLE:
- Develop and maintain collaborative relationships internally with other departments, and with external stakeholders to facilitate patient care.
- Form an integral part of a multi-disciplinary team and provide highly responsive and flexible service to patients and carers ensuring a holistic approach
- Role Model behaviours and practice within the core values of Mercy Health, while upholding a high level of professionalism

- Flexibility required across all shifts including night duty
- Registration with the Australia Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- At least 1 year experience as a Registered Nurse Grade 2
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with diverse multidisciplinary teams
- Strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills
- Experience working in a Palliative care ward (desirable)
Werribee Mercy Hospital is a General Public Hospital located in the rapidly growing Western suburbs of Melbourne.
