We are seeking a passionate and skilled Registered Nurse to be an integral part of our operating theatre. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the surgical care of our patients and work in a highly specialized and collaborative environment.
The contract: Fixed Term, Part Time, 56.0 hours per fortnight until 13th April 2025 – EFT split will be considered.
The position:
As part of our supportive and skilled Perioperative team, you will assess, plan, implement and evaluate care of the perioperative patients in a competent and professional manner. This role will enable you to rapidly expand your nursing skills with exposure to a range of areas including PACU, Scrub/Scout and Anaesthetics. Your days will always be dynamic and engaging!

What you need:
• Current AHPRA registration as Registered Nurse
• Acute nursing experience and experience in Surgical or Perioperative nursing is required
• Demonstrated competence in acute and/or surgical nursing including understanding and experience in clinical handover, escalation of care and patient education
• A sound understanding of the functions and responsibilities of the perioperative nurse including care of the unconscious patient
