About the role
An exciting opportunity exists for a Graduate Registered Nurse to extend their clinical knowledge and skills in the specialty area of Mental Health nursing, in Post Graduate nursing positions. The Combined Mental Health program will allow the successful applicant to experience their Post Graduate year in both the Acute Mental HealthInpatient Unit and the Community Mental Health for 6 months in each area. This promotes a fantastic opportunity to develop the broad range of skills required when working in a specialist Mental Health setting.
The successful applicant will be supported by other experienced Registered Mental Health Nurses, in addition to this there will be regular Professional Development and Clinical Supervision to ensure development of specialist Mental Health nursing skills.
What you bring
- Working as part of a collaborative and highly skilled team of professionals, excellent verbal and written communications skills are essential.
- Comprehensive understanding and knowledge of the relevant legislation and contemporary frameworks are required; with a sound understanding of recovery orientated practices.
- Enrolment in, or a desire to complete Post Graduate studies in Specialist Mental Health Nursing is preferred.

Employment Terms and Conditions will be in line with the Victorian Public Mental Health Services Enterprise Agreement 2020-2024 with the appropriate classification of Registered Psychiatric Nurse Grade 2.
Salary range: $71,333 - $95,378 per annum pro rata.
