The George Centre has multiple exciting opportunities for experienced Registered Nurses to work within our Perioperative unit.
We are currently seeking Recovery Nurses to join our team in a Permanent Part Time position. Working predominantly Monday to Friday, but some weekend shifts may be required. On-call responsibilities are also a feature of this role, so flexibility is key.
About You
- To succeed in this role, you will need strong clinical skillset in a hospital setting.
- You will hold a passion for client care and a high standard of customer-focused service.
- You will have exceptional communication skills and have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years relevant experience in an acute hospital
- Post Anaesthetic Care Unit and/or Anaesthetic Nursing experience is highly regarded, Intensive Care experience may also be considered
- Paediatric experience desirable
- Relevant qualifications and Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a high-performing team.
- Relevant post-graduate specialty qualifications will be highly regarded, though not essential.

- Proof of immunisation against specified Infectious Diseases, including COVID-19
