The Opportunity The Registered Nurse (Midwife) provides nursing support to all services that are provided in Women's and Children's Clinics. Gynaecology nursing experience will be viewed favourably. The multidisciplinary team includes hospital and visiting medical staff, Registered nurses, Registered Midwives, Enrolled nurses, Student Midwives, casual and rotational Midwives, medical students, Social Workers, Allied Health staff, Aboriginal Health Workers, Clerical staff and Volunteers. What we are looking for? Develop in partnership with women, individualised care plans for antenatal, postnatal and intrapartum care and provide midwifery care in the hospital and in the community. Provide support, guidance, preceptorship, supervision and mentoring to new and less experienced staff.
