About the role
Reporting directly to the Nurse Unit Manager, this Registered Nurse role assists in the provision of high quality care and support for our patients within our purpose built renal dialysis unit.
Our close-knit unit has 10 treatment spaces and we operate Monday to Friday only.
As the Registered Nurse your role will include:
- Specialising in the treatment and education of fellow employees, patients and their families with regard to treatment protocols.
- Ensuring all direct clinical nursing care is undertaken during your shift with regular, critical communication between you and your fellow colleagues
- Optimising patient care through active participation in all patient care and safety processes
- Demonstrating the ability to conduct nursing practice in a manner that respects the rights of individuals and groups in accordance with all relevant standards, regulations and legislation.
This is a Monday to Friday, permanent part-time role (4 days/week), based at our St Vincent’s Lismore campus.

Your skills & experience
- Current registration with AHPRA;
- Post-graduate qualifications in nephrology (desirable);
- Experience working within a renal dialysis unit is desirable but not essential. Training will be provided for the right candidate;
- Well-developed leadership skills within a team environment;
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills;
- Flexible and available to work all shifts on a rotating roster.
