Qualifications & experience
- Minimum six months experience as a Registered Nurse in Operating Theatres as a Scrub Scout or similar role
- AHPRA registration current
- Able to circulate within the theatre.
- Sterile field training (able to scrub for cases)
- Knowledge of Operating theatres in Australia
- Scrub for a multitude of cases in Urology, General, GYNAE, OBSTETRICS, ORTHO, EMERGENCY, TRAUMA, CEPOD
- Accredited nursing degree or diploma
Tasks & responsibilities
- Working with the surgical team to deliver optimal safe care for patients
- Maintaining infection control & a sterile field
- Scrubbing in for cases (Ortho, Gynae, Emergency, General)
- Working as a part of a Multidisciplinary team
