Gold Coast Private Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse - Scrub Scout to join our team on a Part Time basis. IProactively assess the operative nursing care provided to ensure the best possible outcome is achieved for the individual / patientn this fast paced and varied environment you will bring your experience and take pride in your work, have a friendly and positive work attitude and a commitment to customer satisfaction.

Our Registered Nurse - Scrub Scout deliver exceptional, best practice nursing care to ensure excellent clinical outcomes and an industry leading patient experience. You will take a leadership role in the coordination of nursing care and work in partnership with Enrolled Nurses (ENs) providing supervision, direction and guidance.

As a Registered Nurse - Scrub Scout your responsibilities will include:

• Undertake peri-operative nursing care in accordance with legislation
• Deliver evidence based nursing care
• Liaise with the multi-disciplinary team
• Ensure patient and staff safety
• Supervise, direct and guide nursing team members; Enrolled Nurses (ENs) and (AINs) to deliver patient care.
• Document into the patient's medical record objectively, clearly, concisely and timely using accepted abbreviations and terminology
• Proactively assess the operative nursing care provided to ensure the best possible outcome is achieved for the individual / patient

Essential Criteria:

· Current Registration with AHPRA

· Minimum 3 years experience as an RN in a perioperative setting

· Experience in Spinal/Large Orthopaedics and Neurosurgery (Desirable)

· Post Graduate Certificate in Perioperative Nursing (or working towards)

· Compliance with ACQSHC National standards

· Commitment to quality patient care

· Works independently and within a team

· Exceptional time management and organisational skills

· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

· Strong problem solving and analytical skills

· Exceptional computer skills
