Form of work An excellent opportunity exists for a dynamic and motivated Orthopaedic Scrub Scout Registered Nurse with previous experience to join the perioperative team at a private hospital on the Gold Coast. It's a permanent part-time position.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As the Registered Nurse, you'll be supported by great managers, be part of a robust and innovative team and have the opportunity to grow as you help patients either during or following their procedures. Your responsibilities will include undertaking perioperative nursing care in accordance with legislation, delivering evidence-based nursing care, liaising with the multi-disciplinary team, ensuring patient and staff safety, supervising, directing and guiding nursing team members, proactively assessing the operative nursing care provided to ensure the best possible outcome is achieved for the individual/patient, documenting into the patient's medical record objectively, clearly, concisely and timely using accepted abbreviations and terminology.
REQUIREMENTS
Current Registration with AHPRA;
At least 1-year nursing experience as an Orthopaedic Scrub Scout Registered Nurse;
Sound clinical decision-making and problem-solving skills;
Excellent communication and customer service skills;
Commitment to quality patient care;
Ability to work independently and within a team;
Exceptional time management and organisational skills;
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;

REMUNERATION
38.83 - 49.57 per hour.

The hospital, located on the Gold Coast, is a 336-bed, 22-operating theatre facility providing all acute medical and surgical services, paediatrics, obstetrics and cardiac. Specialities include 24/7 Emergency Care Centre, Medical, Orthopaedic, Bariatric, Neurosurgical, Plastics, ENT & General Surgical, Obstetrics, Paediatrics, Cardiac Care and Oncology.
