The Role
The Special Care Nursery at Cabrini Malvern is a 10 cot nursery, caring for babies from 32 weeks not requiring respiratory support.
The successful applicant will be confident in their ability to provide autonomous neonatal nursing care in the SCN. In addition to working independently, they must also be a team player within the multidisciplinary environment.

About you:
This position is well suited to an individual who is looking to advance their career in Maternity Services nursing and gain experience in a thriving and supportive workplace. You will also have:
- Current AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse
- Victorian Working with Children Check (Mandatory)
- Post Graduate Qualifications in SCN or NICU (Mandatory)
- Current experience in a Neonatal Unit
- Experience in caring for babies on Non Invasive Respiratory support (CPAP ) (Desirable)
- Skills in neonatal advanced resuscitation and stabilization of the neonate
- Flexibility to fulfill a rotating roster
- Ability to work autonomously
- Embrace a family Centred approach to your care
- Ability to work within the Mission and Values of the organisation
