About you The Registered Nurse is responsible for providing safe, effective and appropriate patient care in a patient-focused environment. Reports to the Nurse Unit Manager, working under the direction of Level 2 RNs. This position is based on the Surgical Ward at Calvary St Luke’s Private Hospital including Orthopaedic/ENT and Day Ward and Pre-admission clinic. Paediatric experience is favourable. Key Responsibilities Function within a multi disciplinary team and provide assistance whenever needed. Function in accordance with legislation and policy relevant to practice. Protect the rights of patients while respecting values, customs and spiritual beliefs. What you bring AHPRA Registration with a current practising certificate. Demonstrated recent clinical experience in an acute care and/or hospital setting. Ability to work unsupervised, proficiently and in an organised manner during periods of high demand and activity. Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary team. Demonstrated communication, interpersonal skills and customer service skills. A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission based organisation.
