Whilst this selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy, it may also be used to fill other "similar" vacancies throughout the health service. Position Profile: In collaboration with the Clinical Nurse Manager/Clinical Nurse Specialist and the Clinical Nurse, the Registered Nurse is responsible for the delivery of a high standard of nursing care on a shift by shift basis to patients and their families using the Scope of Nursing Practice Decision Making Framework. The Registered Nurse acts as a role model and undertakes a teaching role in nursing practice for more junior staff.
As a Registered Nurse in our permanent relief pool, you will have the chance to work in various wards providing a dynamic and diverse experience. In addition, you will have the flexibility of:
- Option 1 - rotating roster working across all shifts including day, afternoon, and night.
- Option 2 - 12hr shift roster working across all shifts including day and night.
- Option 3 - fixed shifts Monday to Friday providing a set roster ensuring that you have a work schedule that suits your lifestyle.
- Option 4 - casual pool.
Requirements: Minimum 12 months paediatric experience
