Whilst this selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy, it may also be used to fill other "similar" vacancies throughout the health service. Both of these options remain valid for a period of twelve (12) months from when the authorised delegate endorses the recruitment decision.

Position Profile: In collaboration with the Clinical Nurse Manager/Clinical Nurse Specialist and the Clinical Nurse, the Registered Nurse is responsible for the delivery of a high standard of nursing care on a shift by shift basis to patients and their families using the Scope of Nursing Practice Decision Making Framework. The Registered Nurse acts as a role model and undertakes a teaching role in nursing practice for more junior staff.

As a Registered Nurse in our permanent relief pool, you will have the chance to work in various wards providing a dynamic and diverse experience. In addition, you will have the flexibility of:

  • Option 1 - rotating roster working across all shifts including day, afternoon, and night.
  • Option 2 - 12hr shift roster working across all shifts including day and night.
  • Option 3 - fixed shifts Monday to Friday providing a set roster ensuring that you have a work schedule that suits your lifestyle.
  • Option 4 - casual pool.

Requirements: Minimum 12 months paediatric experience
