Bethanie Beachside is one of our larger sites with 160 beds and offers a range of amenities, from secure dementia care through to on site cafe services and a busy social calendar.If you share a passion for person-centred care services and promoting a positive ageing experience for older people, we would love to hear from you!The RoleAs a Registered Nurse you are responsible for clinical care and case management. Supervision, direction, support and leadership of nursing and care/support staff will also be required.

• Take immediate action to ensure nursing care is delivered in a safe and effective manner providing direction to Enrolled Nurses and Care Workers
• Complete assessment and/or admission requirements
• Maintain an effective referral system to senior nursing staff, medical staff and/or allied health staff
• Ensure that clinical records reflect care, in line with all accreditation standards and legislative requirements
• Provide coaching/mentoring/training to staff where required

About YouYou enjoy the variety that working in aged care brings and the ability to build relationships with the residents in your care.

• Currently registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse
• Relevant clinical experience in aged care including a solid understanding of the Aged Care Accreditation Standards and AN-ACC funding model
• Ability to work independently and professionally
• Ability to motivate staff and promote a positive work environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and able to confidently use clinical information systems
• Commitment to a person-centred care approach when providing care services
