Mutkin Aged Care
Mutkin is a Commonwealth subsidised and accredited aged care facility in Yarrabah providing residential care, home and community care and disability services to elders and disabled persons in the Yarrabah Community. Mutkin aims to provide high quality aged care services while acknowledging the cultural needs of our community and showing respect and care for our elders and disabled clients.
Candidate
We are ideally looking for candidates who are able to demonstrate the following:
- Bachelor in Nursing + AHPRA registration
- COVID vaccine and flu shot
- Current police check + NDIS Worker Clearance
- Experience in aged care
- Experience working in a multidisciplinary and multi-cultural care team.
- Knowledge of policy review and implementation for clinical governance
- Experienced in effective interpersonal and written communication skills, including intermediate computer skills as well as skills in automated technology.
- Available to work on a rotating 24/7 roster
- No sponsorship applications, Australian residents only

Key Responsibilities
- You’ll provide exceptional care to residents, supporting their independence and improving their quality of life.
- You will work within a diverse team to deliver best practice clinical care that supports and enhances residents needs and well-being.
- Lead and motivate the care team to deliver the highest quality, person-centred, care to residents.
- Manage the development, delivery and review of tailored care plans and assessments.
- Maintain quality care documentation, whilst supporting the Clinical Care Manager with AN-ACC assessments and Commonwealth Standards.
- Ensure safe medication administration, best practice wound care and clinical support for residents, in line with resident needs and legislative requirements.
- Adhere to all relevant processes, policies, legislative requirements and quality guidelines.
