We have employment opportunities for Registered Nurses both in charge and non in charge at our Harmony Village residential Aged Care home in Shepparton.
The successful candidates will join our dedicated clinical team and will be a Registered Nurse who embraces the Aged Care Quality Standards to deliver personalised care to maximise each resident's health, well-being and choice.
What we are seeking:
- A positive and flexible attitude
- Dedication to resident care and support, ensuring dignity and choice is central to all that you do
- A team player with effective interpersonal and communication skills
- A willingness to embrace and champion the Aged Care Quality Standards
- A current Division 1 AHPRA Nursing Registration
- Previous experience in Aged Care is valued highly
What you will bring:
- Dedication to resident care and support
- Excellent clinical knowledge regarding medical conditions, palliative care, and care of people living with dementia including managing challenging behaviours
- High level interpersonal and written skills
- Experience managing staff and performance management
- Ability to effectively communicate with residents, resident representatives and other health professionals
- A good understanding of the aged care reform agenda, including AN-ACC funding and royal commission recommendations related to clinical care
