As one of the country’s largest care providers, Brightwater has provided care and support to our clients to pursue the dignity of independence for the past 120 years.We are currently seeking Registered Nurses to join the team at our largest Southern Facility, on a part-time basis.Brightwater are seeking to fill vacant PM & Night shifts between Monday to Friday, our PM shift typically between 3pm and 10.15pm with Nights typically between 10pm to 7.15am.Those interested in weekend work can highlight their interest within their cover-letter. Our preference is for those that can commit to a minimum of two days per week (excluding weekends)The RoleThis positions forms part of a multi-disciplinary team and is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating clinical care for, and with, clients of Brightwater Care Group. This position delivers inclusive and person-centred quality care and support in accordance with individualised client Care Plans to ensure optimal service provision that actively promotes choice, independence, and quality of life, in a safe and home like environment.The Cove:Located in Dudley Park. The Cove, one of our largest facilities which has 131 beds. The Cove caters for a range of different needs for clients, including those with advanced dementia and high care needs. We are currently seeking those available for Night and PM shifts, however some AM shifts are currently available.Interested in working with more than one site? We can assist with shifts between our facilities, please make us aware of your preferences.To be successful, you will possess the following attributes:

  • Be registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • Deliver a strong clinical care service
  • Have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with people from diverse backgrounds and experiences
  • Demonstrate the ability to lead shifts with an empathetic and mentoring approach
  • Be able to prioritise their workload safely and efficiently with a focus on our clients
  • A satisfactory National Police Clearance that is less than one year old
  • First Aid Certificate (less than 3 years old)
  • A satisfactory NDIS Worker Screening check
  • Evidence of up-to-date influenza vaccination
