The role
As a Treatment Room Nurse you will be responsible for:
- Assisting with minor surgical procedures.
- Performing child and adult immunisations.
- Applying dressings and wound care.
- Sterilisation of instruments as per RACGP guidelines.
About you
To succeed in this role you will need:
- Current registration as an Endorsed Enrolled Nurse or Registered Nurse
- Knowledge of immunisation schedules for children and adults.
- Experience in a Medical Centre Treatment Room preferred but not essential.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong understanding of what customer service excellence means.
- The ability to work independently and in a team.
- Ability to prioritise tasks.
- High standards of personal presentation.
- Proficient computer skills.
Evidence of immunisation and immunity to:
- Hepatitis B
- Diphtheria, tetanus & pertussis
- Tuberculosis (Screening may be required)
- COVID-19
