About the Role
CGH is in search of Registered or Enrolled Nurses to join the Surgical Ward, an 18-bed, fast-paced unit at Central Gippsland Health. Your role will involve supporting the nursing leadership team in implementing the organization's core values, contributing to efficient management, and demonstrating professional leadership within the integrated health service.
This position also offers exciting opportunities for advancement, with the potential to transition into Hospital in the Home, an integral component connected to our Surgical ward.
Duties
- Establish a relationship between the patient and yourself in order to achieve the best possible outcomes for your patients
- Support patient care in accordance with the best interests of the patient
- Apply knowledge and skills to undertake systematic assessments of patients, develop and document the plan of care
- Implement the plan by providing direct care to patients
About You
- Nurse holding current registration with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia
- Relevant nursing experience
- Must be willing to work across all shifts including nights and afternoons.
