We operate 24 hours a day, seven days a week from our 4 operation centres in Australia, Canada, Malaysia, and the UK, responding to the cries for help we receive from travellers across the globe.  

So, what’s the job? 

Our Registered Paramedics and Nurses work fast and focused in difficult situations, offering expert medical advice and services to travellers all over the world, right round the clock. With their expert Emergency or Critical Care know how, our team are committed to care for our customers in their time of need. Resilient, and empathetic, they build strong relationships and deliver accurate, on-time service in high-stakes situations. 

• You’ll provide medical advice to patients in emergency situations around the world 

• You’ll make time sensitive medical decisions for patients 

• You’ll manage emergency air ambulance evacuations 

• You’ll provide expert knowledge to guide management of medical cases over the phone and in writing 

• You’ll do all of this from the comfort of our Brisbane-based command centre  

And what are we looking for?  

We are looking for future team members who are passionate about helping people and want variety in their job every single day. We can teach you everything you need to know about travel assistance as long as you’re empathetic and willing to learn…so no corporate experience necessary!  

• You’ll hold a current Ahpra registration 

• You’ll have at least three years post-graduate experience as a Paramedic 

• You’ll be competent with IT systems & able to use multiple screens and programs 

• You’ll need to be available to work across a 24/7 rotating roster (eight 10-hour shifts/fortnight or ten 8-hour shifts/fortnight – you choose) 

• More than anything else, you’ll have a passion for helping others
