Form of workWe are looking to recruit a registered nurse capable of providing excellent patient care and willing to learn about working in a private medical facility. At present we have 7 GP's, a Dietician and Audiology service.
Florey Medical is fast-paced and requires a highly motivated, highly skilled, team oriented and friendly nurse to join our supportive team.
NOTE: We are able to offer flexibility in this role and offer part-time hours across 2-5 days.
Your areas of responsibility will include both clinical & administration duties. These include but not limited to the following:
- Providing excellent patient care
- Supporting the practitioners
- Immunisations and Vaccine Management
- Chronic Disease Management, Health Assessments
- Triaging, Wound care. ECG, Ear Syringing
- Sterilization, housekeeping and organising clinical workspaces
- Clinical audits, registers and training
- Clinical ordering and maintenance of supplies
- Coordination of clinical recalls, reminders and liaising with patients
- Quality Improvement
- Maintaining Clinical Documentation
- Clinical responsibilities for RACGP Accreditation (3 yearly)
Essential selection criteria:
- Current registration with AHPRA
- Current CPR
- Strong team work ethic
- High level of communication and attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task
- Reliability and punctuality
