Our land surveying services have the capability and experience in delivering large- and small-scale projects across residential, commercial and industrial properties. Our teams are equipped with robotic total stations, GPS units, and the latest 3D laser scanners.
We are currently seeking an experienced Registered Surveyor to join this exciting, fast paced, and dynamic team, reporting directly to the NSW Survey Manager and based out of our Bella Vista Office.
- Boundary Surveys
- Preparation of linen plans for subdivisions, consolidations, easement plan etc.
- Strata plans
- Lease plans
- Plan of Survey Information Only (POSI)
- Set-outs.
- Identification surveys
- Works-As- Executed Surveys (WAE)
- Control traverse
- Conduct Cadastral Surveys (under Supervision, if necessary).
- Topographical Surveys (Contour & Detail Surveys)
- Ensure survey equipment is properly calibrated and maintained, and that Health and Safety protocols are followed at all times.
- Mentor and guide junior surveyors.
- Identify and drive growth and opportunities for the business
- Ensure work is carried in line with client expectations and agreed timeframes.
As the successful candidate for this role, you will have –
- Proven ability and experience in managing large jobs, Deposited Plans, Strata Plans, Identification Surveys, Council Town Planning submissions, Expert Reports and the like.
- Cadastral surveying experience in NSW.
- Preparing quotations.
- Provide clients with expert titling/project advice.
- Assist in scheduling the survey team for projects.
- Mentoring and training junior staff.
- Ensuring the effective completion of survey projects to meet deadlines.
- Checking survey plans prior to issue.
- Carry out field surveys where required.
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Self-motivated with a positive outlook.
- Ability to work independently or collaboratively in a team environment.
- Demonstrated commitment to WHS.
This role requires –
- Surveying Degree or equivalent with Registration under NSW Board of Surveying and Spatial Information (BOSSI)
- Valid Australian Driver’s License
- Experience using Leica Total Stations (preferred)
- Proficiency in the use of survey software such as Magnet and AutoCAD
- Construction Induction (White) Card Certification.
- Unrestricted rights to work in Australia.
